Biography & Background:
I have been a proud physician for Kaiser Permanente in Anaheim since completing my residency in 1979. I have had the fortune of being here from the very beginning and have grown professionally and personally as Orange County has grown. My career has gone through many changes over the past nearly 30 years, and I feel that my current practice is the most rewarding to me, which makes it easier to serve your needs at what is often a very stressful time in your life.
My practice is now limited to post- acute care outside of the usual medical office building or acute hospital setting. I practice in teams of different sizes, whether in skilled nursing facilities or in the home for hospice or home health patients. The team may be fellow physicians, or more multidisciplinary teams of medical social workers (MSW), nurses (RN), chaplain services, or therapies by physical therapy (PT), occupational therapy (OT) or speech therapy (ST), with all members having valuable input to the development of a plan to best serve our patient's needs.
I try to lead a healthy lifestyle by watching my son grow into a strong, independent young man. I try to practice what I teach with exercise, eating properly, and taking time for my family and myself.
