What role does your nominee have in senior care and senior care issues?
Kelly is a graduate of Brigham Young University. She is currently the Administrator at Bel Vista Healthcare Center. She wears a couple of other hats, too. She is also VP of Operations for Villa de la Mar, Inc, and President of Post Acute Management, Inc.
This past May, she won the Eli Pick Facility Leadership Award from the American College of Health Care Administrators. The Eli Pick recognizes administrators whose teams have achieved dimensions of organizational quality. Eligibility for this award is based on three years of skilled nursing facility survey data, including the Health, Fire (Life Safety), and Complaint Surveys, as well as top quartile performance on designated Quality Measures. The criteria also included an 80% or greater facility occupancy and a three year avoidance of a Special Focus Facility status.

Why should this person be nominated
Kelly Anderson-Conk has been the Administrator at Bel Vista Healthcare for 6 years. Bel Vista is a 41-bed facility that is independently owned and operated; it has been proudly serving the Long Beach Senior Community for over 50 years.
Kelly has been a wonderful asset to Bel Vista over the years! She has contributed immensely to the great reputation Bel Vista has and Kelly is always educated to the newest regulations in the nursing facility industry, has a strong presence in the community and is an active participant in post-acute care committees with goals to implement systems to reduce hospital readmissions. In addition to these efforts she has been awarded the Completion of the Long Term Care Leadership Academy.
Kelly has made it a point to know all her residents by name, contributes to their rehabilitation goals and continuously adds to their quality of life by visiting with them throughout the day. Kelly is also a superior manager, she empowers all her department heads and all employees to be the best they can be.
Even with all the stress of being an Administrator, Kelly is well respected in the acute and post-acute world, she constantly has a smile on her face and is always eager to help anyone who asks.
