What role does your nominee have in senior care and senior care issues?
Linda has been in the senior industry for over 10 years, she brings expertise in many different areas to help seniors. She is an advocate for the professional industry by trying to regulate laws that only benefits the seniors and their families.


Why should this person be nominated
Linda will take her time to help veterans, very low income families by helping to find housing. She will go above and beyond for professionals in the industry, she is not afraid to share information that may help someone else in the industry to be of assistance to families. She has a genuine heart for seniors and always does the right thing. She works endless hours helping families, even if they have no money. I am very honored to know her, to have worked with her and I know she is always there to help.

Linda lives by the motto “do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” She visits every Board & Care and assisted living facility before she ever recommends them to a client. Not only does she visit them, she checks all ratings…and then visits them again!! She gets to know the owners and even some of the caregivers. She knows that by the time someone comes to her for placement help, they are usually desperate, and she wants to make sure she’s showing them places that SHE would place a loved one.

Linda’s commitment to families in crisis was keenly felt by a man desperate to find care for his wife. This man, Jack, was the picture of a loving husband. He and his wife of 50+ years, Lori, had grown a business and raised a family together. They were so connected in life and love it was beautiful to see… until the beauty was threatened by the onset of Alzheimer’s.

But Jack made vows that he would never break, no matter what, and he cared for Lori at home for several years. Finally, Lori needed more care than even Jack could give her, and he and the family made the difficult decision to place her in an assisted living memory care, where he continued to visit her every day. But, in a short while, Jack could see that Lori wasn’t receiving the level of care he expected and was at a loss to find somewhere that would care for Lori as he did.

A friend of Jack’s told him about Linda, and he called her right away. After hearing Jack and Lori’s story, Linda immediately called the best place on her list for Lori, but was doubtful that there would be an opening - this place was so amazing that it almost never had openings. Because of Linda’s personal connection with the owner, she was told there was an opening pending that hadn’t been publicized and the owner agreed to meet with Jack. Jack immediately drove to the location and he and the owner clicked. Lori was transferred to the location within a week or so, and Jack has been thanking God for Linda and the owner ever since.

Linda makes a difference for people like this every day!
