Describe how your Nominee has exceeded his or her Job Description, becoming a hero to you or others. Provide an example or as much detail as possible of the things that they do that go above and beyond their job description.
Dr. Bixby is a Movement Disorder Specialist extraordinaire dealing with Parkinson's and many other neurological diseases. An example of how special this doctor is, she was speaking to 120 people when she mentioned that just before she goes into the exam room, she says to herself: "Please let me use all of my training to help this patient."

Another example of how understanding she is, was when she entered the exam room to find an older Hispanic gentleman sitting in the chair. Standing there, talking to him, she realized that she was 'talking down to him'. She decides to sit on the floor for the rest of the appointment. That is a new kind "Special".
Someone gave her a sign that said, "The Greatest Gift I Could Give a Friend is to Have Dr. Bixby as their Doctor".

That sums up who I consider the best doctor in Laguna Hills - - - Orange County - - - California - - - and you guessed it, in the entire United States.
