I met Dr. Yang 16 years ago, and over this time he has been a resource and support to me and the hospice patients I serve in the the community. He not only cares for the patients he serves but will also step in and help the members of the care partners in the community. He personally facilitated the care for the grandfather of a nurse at local assisted living. This nurse was in distress because her grandfather was actively dying. Dr.Yang made time in his already busy day to see the patient and facilitate hospice care. More, recently he reached out to our foundation to help pay and facilitate care for a local senior marketing professional who wasn't getting the end of life experience and care she deserved and personal took on her case at no charge because it was the right thing to do. He is never too busy to roll up his sleeves, gives his patients and families his cell phone and add joy and laughter to the patients and families he serves.
