Dr. Miller has been a physician in Orange County and serving its senior population for over 34 years. He is currently on staff at Coventry Court and Walnut Village. In 2010 and 2011 he received the Orange County Top Physician honor through Orange Coast Magazine.

What is this nominee’s involvement in senior care or senior issues
Why is Dr. Mark Miller an obvious choice for a nominee? The reasons are abundant; Dr. Miller is so invested in senior care issues that it would be analogous to a criminal offense not to nominate him for the Senior Care Hero Awards.
Dr. Mark Miller has been practicing as a physician in Orange County and serving its senior population for over 34 years. In addition to being triple board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine and Interventional Cardiology; Dr. Miller was recognized in Orange Coast Magazine as one of Orange County’s Top Physicians in 2010 and 2011. The impressive list continues as Dr. Miller is a Diplomat with the North American Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology Examiners and is also certified with the American Society of Hypertension Specialists.
Although the above qualifications are extremely impressive it is not those that set Dr. Miller above the others. Yes he is brilliant, highly educated and a skilled technician at his craft however it’s the heart of the man that speaks to us all especially his geriatric patients.
Dr. Miller embodies the art of compassion, he cares about his patients and their families. It is not uncommon to see him place a hand on his patients shoulder when he is talking to them or educating them, this is quite astounding especially in this fast paced environment of the healthcare world. Dr. Miller is the real deal; he’s down to earth and unassuming. The elderly identify with him so well because he is that way, he’s not condescending or arrogant, he’s on their level and informative.
The old adage to know him is to love him could not be more accurate when it comes to Dr. Miller. On any given day one might find Dr. Miller walking through the hospital corridors whistling and singing, you usually hear him and are already smiling before he appears.
