What is this nominee’s involvement in senior care or senior issues
Lee-Anne is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of British Columbia. Lee-Anne has worked in a variety of clinical settings including Hematology, Oncology, Radiation and Acute Medicine. She has worked as an Education Specialist for the Alzheimer’s Association, an Educational Nurse Liaison for VITAS Hospice, Director of Quality Assurance and Education for Salus Homecare and currently as and independent consultant providing continuing education and support to health care organizations. She is a clinical expert, committed to the discipline of nursing with a passion for teaching and advising health care professionals and those working within the senior care profession.
Lee-Anne possesses a vision that exceeds her and she maintains the highest level of standards and integrity for the profession. She is well aware of the ever-evolving challenges in the healthcare field particularly with geriatric issues and remains flexible and proactive in her role as an educator.
More than anything, Lee-Anne serves from her heart and truly wants to make the important difference in educating those individuals working with our aging population. She is a true champion.
