Why should this person be nominated? (What makes nominee unique; why should they be selected the winner of this category?
Amy has spent the last two years as a professional caregiver. She is currently trying to further her education and obtain her CSA. She advocates safety and dementia prevention to seniors. She has many testimonials from clients and families alike. She is the most compassionate person I ever met.

What is this nominee’s involvement in senior care or senior issues
Recently, while working for her 97+ year old grandfather, as the regular caregiver was away abroad, she compassionately helped Mr. Geller die with extreme dignity and class. He was declining very rapidly and, obviously scared.

She, along with the Hospice nurse held his hand, made him extremely comfortable, kept his mind active by helping him remember, all the accomplishments in his life--- his late wife, Pauline--his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren--His last words were Amy. I love you. He died on 07/02/13 at 10:30 AM with a smile knowing Amy helped him rest in peace.
