What is this nominee’s involvement in senior care or senior issues
Vic is an amazingly kind hearted man. He has such compassion for the individuals he works with, and is very focused on the spirituality of each individual, no matter what religion they belong to. He has a very gentle and kind approach, and the people who attend his groups have placed their trust in him to guide them in the process of dementia and how it impacts their lives.

Vic first became a caregiver when caring for his parents. His father became ill, then his mother was diagnosed with dementia. He had to quickly learn about dementia, and how best to care for his mother. After spending years caring for his mother, he realized that he wanted to help other people who were struggling with caring for a loved one with dementia. He spent a year in training, wanting to make sure that he could help people with the areas they most needed help.

He now serves a large area, including multiple states, helping others to set up care ministries for family members who are taking care of a loved one with dementia. His passion is serving individuals with dementia and their caregivers.

He is an unsung hero and deserves to be recognized for his contribution to the senior community.
