Karin Little is a long-time Family Consulatant at Caregiver Resource Center. She provides an array of support services to family caregivers of adults with brain impairments of chronic health care needs. All that Karin does is focused on helping the family caregiver provide their best care and maintain their own health and mental health along the journey. In addition, Karin functions as the Education Coordinator at the agency. She in involved in numerous education collaboratives and is a sought after speaker for caregiver issues. She coordinates all of the many education offerings that the CRC provides in the community as the county's designated lead agency for family caregiving. Karin provides I&R, caregiver assessments, support counseling, support groups, family consultation, psycho-education programs, presentations and workshops, and community outreach along with the coordination of education. She is also a community expert in Huntington Disease, providing the only support group in the community for this population and interacts with the HD Clinic at UCI as a key resource.

Karin Little exemplifies the true generalist social worker. She is able to work with individuals, families, groups, and the community with excellent skills and knowledge. She is a strong advocate for family caregivers and a great resoruce and support for caregiving families.
