She is famous for describing to families what happens when their loved one's pain , at end of life, is finally treated effectively. She says, "You'll be able to tell when the pain is managed; your loved one will be melting into the pillow." So many families and patients have been comforted by this lively, loving red headed nurse who can walk faster down a hospital hallway than anyone I've ever seen. She is a tireless advocate for comfort for those who are suffering. Some call her an angel and a saint.
