Louise Ye-Liew

Louise Ye-Liew

Position: Geriatrics Medicine

Organization: Advanced Medical Home Physicians

What role does your nominee have in senior care and senior care issues?
Louise Ye, DO, L.Ac. graduated from Western University-College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in 2011. She is Board Certified in Family Medicine and Geriatric Medicine and completed her residency and fellowship programs at University of Southern California in 2015.

She decided to focus on Geriatric Medicine to help meet the demand of senior care and be the need for a voice to advocate for them. Her focus is to partner up with her patients and their family to guide them in taking charge of their health. Her attention to detail and thoroughness is what makes her stand out. She goes beyond charts or tests to get to know her patients as a whole rather than just the illness.

Dr. Ye is also a Licensed Acupuncturist and Oriental Medicine.

Why should this person be nominated
Dr. Ye is an expert in the senior care field. She has a servants heart and a true compassion for her work with seniors. With an affiliation to Hoag Hospital Irvine, Hoag Hospital Newport Beach, and Orange County Global Medical Center, Dr. Ye has an opportunity to serve a vast number of seniors in the Orange County community. Dr. Ye is excellent at identifying the most appropriate level of care for each and every one of her patients and works in parallel with her community partners to ensure that each unique senior's need is met and diagnosed with precision. Dr. Ye goes above and beyond to ensure that all of her seniors have the highest caliber of care, ultimately nurturing a quality of life that is fulfilling and and rewarding for each of the seniors and allowing them to thrive.

Dr. Ye is quickly becoming a prominent physician in the Orange County healthcare community and it is because of her tender heart and her overwhelming compassion for the seniors she serves. While Dr. Ye checks off all the boxes on being a prestigious, well-informed physician, the main reason she is deserving of this award is for the intangibles that she possesses. Her personality and uncanny ability to connect to seniors is rare to come by. She is very humble, down-to-earth, and always looking out for seniors' best interests. She is a breath of fresh air in an atmosphere where the nature of care can sometimes become rushed and “transactional.” Dr. Ye's unstoppable drive towards excellence is based off the relationships she has developed with the seniors she serves and her strong community of dedicated partners. It is with great honor that I nominate Dr. Ye for the Senior Care Hero Award for Outstanding Physician!
